EXAMINATIONS

1. These rules will be applicable to all the students.
2. The examinations will be conducted as per the examination policy.
3. Grades will be awarded in place of marks.
4. Pupils absent from the examination for any reason, are not reexamined in any case.
5. Absence from one or more subjects involves the loss of grades for those subjects and excludes the pupil from being reckoned in the order of rank in the examination or from receiving a card or prize.
6. Willful breach of any of the regulations for the conduct of examination, is punishable with expulsion from the examination room; or, if discovered subsequently, cancellation of the paper.
7. Application for the verification of marks in special cases will be considered at the discretion of the school authorities. The application along with the prescribed fee of Rs.50/- per subject should be given to the Principal within a day after the declaration of the results. Answer books (of final examinations) will not be shown.
8. The results of the examination are final and cannot be reconsidered.
9. The minimum marks required for passing in each subject and in the aggregate shall be 33% or D Grade.

PROMOTIONS

1. Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year's work of the Pupil.
2. Failure in important subjects like English, Hindi, Mathematics or any of the optionals , renders a pupil liable to repeat the class. Besides, failure in any subject, is sufficient reason for not granting promotion. A child who fails for a second time has to leave the school.
3. To determine eligibility for promotion the average of all the examinations will be considered.
